The ceremony, held at the Office of the Prime Minister, was attended by staff members from the Information Department and several department directors from across the PM’s Office. The event marked a smooth and formal transition of responsibilities within the institution’s communication and public information structure.
Speaking during the handover, Permanent Secretary Kamaal Daahir Guutaale urged the new director to uphold professionalism, strengthen internal coordination, and advance the department’s role in disseminating accurate and timely government information.
