The Copenhagen police on Friday arrested two Somali background suspects for plotting an attack in the capital , officials said. The police said that the two men were captured during overnight security sweeps conducted by the security authorities in Copenhagen outskirts.
The  two suspects were planning an assassination against Denmark’s defense minister Nikolaay Wameen according to Extra Bladet magazine.The government wasn’t accused on them charges relating terrorism although they were conspiring killing of the minster, the magazine reported.
The AFP news agency has quoted an anonymous source that the two Somali nationals were not found serious crimes against the nation. Danmark police is expected to give further details about the arrest in the upcoming 24-hours.
