Somalia: Ahlu Sunna Waljameeca a religious group in Somalia has been lately detaining journalist working in parts of central region of Somalia.
These journalist have been alleged of been creating instability in Dhusmarabe town the headquarters of Galgaduud region.
The most prominent figure among these journalists is Nafisa Hersi the Director of an FM radio station in the region.
Miss Hersi is also been accused of giving false information to the press regarding about the detention of the journalists.
The two main journalist advocates groups in Somalia NUSOJ and SIMHA have both strongly condemned keeping these journalists behind the bars, and urged AhluSunnah Waljama to immediately release the journalists without conditions.
