On Sunday in Garowe town, the Vice President of Puntland, Ilyas Osman Lugatoor, opened the 3rd Annual Conference on Religious Affairs Development.
The conference, which is an annual event and will last for two days, will address the following topics:
1. The Islamic perspective on peace, security, and strengthening good governance.
2. The Islamic perspective on promoting the judicial system, justice, and the country’s laws.
3. Advancing and advocating for the care of orphans and the role the community can play in this regard.
The conference, organized by the Ministry of Justice, was attended by various government officials at different levels, the Mayor of the Capital, security officers, scholars, and other distinguished guests.
