Al Shabaab armed group road side bomb has killed three Somali government t soldiers.
Tuesday attack took place near the capital Mogadishu when the military vehicle was hit by road side bomb, a military official confirmed to Reuters News Agency.
“A roadside bomb hit one of our military pick-ups. So far we know three soldiers died,” Captain Farah Nur told Reuters, adding the death toll could rise.
He said the blast took place near a village about 10 miles from Mogadishu.
A spokesman for the Islamist al Shabaab group has also claimed responsibility.
Al Shabaab has carried out hit and run attacks since pushed out of the capital Mogadishu years ago.
