2 Killed in Mogadishu IED Explosions

At least two people were on Monday killed in two different explosions in the Somali capital Mogadishu, Radio Dalsan reports

The first explosion targeted a vehicle in Odweyne area killing two people.

A second IED explosion occurred at the 21 October road where injuries were reported.

On Sunday three people including one soldier were killed in a car suicide bombing at a checkpoint near the Somalia Parliament.

Alqaeda linked militant group Alshabaab waging an insurgency against the government and African Union troops has in the past claimed responsibility for the attacks.
