Somali oil and gas company has strongly rejected that it has links with armed group Alshabaab.
UK based newspaper the Independent has earlier published a story which originated from BuzzFeed which claimed Som and Oil gas company director has links with Alshabaab.
The Independent further claimed that the investigation was according to the UN monitoring group on Somalia and Eritrea.
Somali oil and gas has strongly rubbished the claim of links with extremist group saying it baseless and insult to the company reputation.
On July last year, UK anti corruption and economic crimes commission has said that it is investigating corruption claims on Somali oil and gas company that is headed by Mark Howard who is former Conservative leader.
