The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of justice and judicial affairs, with both sides discussing ways to enhance collaboration between their respective legal and judicial institutions. The ministers explored opportunities for capacity building, legal reforms, and the exchange of expertise aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of justice systems in both countries.

Minister Hassan Moallim Mahmoud emphasized the importance of continued partnership with Türkiye in supporting Somalia’s ongoing efforts to reform and modernize its justice sector. He noted that closer institutional cooperation would contribute to strengthening the rule of law and promoting good governance.

The Somali Minister was accompanied by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Türkiye, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Justice.

The meeting reflects the growing strategic relations between Somalia and Türkiye, particularly in areas that support institutional development and long-term stability.
