Jubbaland’s Ministry of Internal Security hosted its monthly community, justice, and security meeting in Kismayo, focusing on improving law enforcement, promoting community participation in safety, and enhancing regional cooperation.
Jubbaland hosted its monthly Community, Justice, and Security Meeting in Kismayo, officially opened by Minister of Internal Security, Major General Yusuf Hussein Osman Dhumaal. The forum brought together government officials, security personnel, civil society representatives, and community leaders to assess regional security, review justice initiatives, and promote active community participation.
The meeting was attended by Jubbaland’s Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, members of the House of Representatives, Directors-General of the Security and Justice Ministries, the Chairperson of the Jubbaland Women’s Association, police officers, and representatives from local civil society organizations in Kismayo.
The monthly forum serves as a platform for reviewing the current security situation, accelerating justice sector operations, and enhancing collaboration between authorities and communities. During his opening remarks, Minister Dhumaal highlighted the importance of coordinated security efforts across all levels.
