Former President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, has extended his Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Somali people, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his message, Farmaajo prayed that Allah accepts the good deeds performed during Ramadan, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the holy month and its values of compassion, sacrifice, and unity.
He also highlighted the importance of remembering the children of fallen heroes from the Somali National Armed Forces, who lost their lives while defending the country. Farmaajo called on the public to show support and care for these families, recognizing their sacrifices for the nation’s security and stability.
The former president urged Somalis to continue upholding the positive values practiced during Ramadan, including solidarity, generosity, and mutual support within communities.
In his closing remarks, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo prayed that the Somali people may witness future Eids in peace, unity, and prosperity, expressing hope for a stable and harmonious future for the country.
