A Somali government security officer was shot dead in the capital Mogadishu  on Sunday by unknown armed men.
The unidentified officer was killed at a junction that intersects Mogadishu’s Shibis and Yaqshid districts.
Eyewitnesses told Radio Dalsan that they heard several gunshots and found body of the officer lying dead on the ground.
They identified then body as that of a government security officer.
