Six journalists have been set free late on Sunday night, after having been behind bars for couple days.
The journalists were called back on Monday morning for the hearing of their cases.
The releasing of the journalist comes after the local elders in the area have reached compromise with the officials of AhluSunnah Waljama for the releasing of the journalist.
Initially the journalist were detained after immensely opposed proposal from AhluSunna group that they should not air anything related with them be it news or views.
On the other hand journalists working in Guri El location have in one voice rejected to sign document from AhluSunna Waljama group to limit their work and work on the interest of the group.
There are reports which say that one of the detained journalist become seriously ill in the jail, and has been hospitalized.
AhluSunnah Waljama group strongly rejects to recognize the newly formed Galmudug States in the central regions of Somalia, saying that it was not fairly shared.
