An employee at the Ministry of religious affairs was on Saturday killed when a vehicle he was in exploded in Mogadishu’s Bondheere district.
His mother and brother were injured in the explosion near the tomb of the unknown soldier.
A woman said to be selling tea in the vicinity was also injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack although in the past similar attacks have been blamed on Alshabaab.
