The Deputy Director General and Head of the Planning Department of the Jubaland Ministry of Health,  Abdirahman Mohamed Ibrahim, today welcomed a delegation from the SOLO and PIOUS PROJECTS organizations at the ministry’s headquarters. The meeting also included several departmental directors who actively participated in discussions and exchanges on strategies to enhance healthcare delivery in the region.

During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of expanding and strengthening support for healthcare services to ensure that communities have access to high-quality and sustainable medical care.

Following the discussions, the Ministry of Health and the delegation jointly conducted an assessment visit to Kismayo General Hospital to review the current state of healthcare services and identify areas that require improvement and capacity-building efforts.

This engagement reflects Jubaland’s commitment to enhancing healthcare provision through collaboration with development partners and targeted initiatives aimed at improving the quality and reach of medical services for the local population.
