The Commander of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) in Jubbaland, Abdirashid Janan, has instructed security forces to intensify large-scale operations aimed at ensuring overall safety and security in Beledxaawo district and its surrounding areas.
The planned operations, which are designed to be regular and systematic, focus on preventing criminal activities, combating armed groups operating in the Gedo region, and safeguarding the lives of residents in Beledxaawo and neighboring communities.
Commander Janan emphasized that security personnel are expected to maintain high vigilance and work closely with local communities to gather reliable intelligence, strengthen cooperation, and enhance overall security effectiveness.
He also urged forces to respect the rights of civilians during the operations, prioritizing peace, stability, and adherence to the law while carrying out security measures.
