Somalia’s Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Daud Aweys Jamaa, arrived in Cairo, Egypt, leading a high-level delegation to participate in the 55th Conference of Media Ministers of the Arab States.
During his visit, Minister Dawood Aweys will hold meetings with his Arab counterparts, focusing on opportunities for Somalia to receive technical assistance in media development and to strengthen cooperation with Arab countries in the field of media.
In addition, the minister visited the Somali Embassy in Cairo, where he was warmly welcomed by Somali diplomats, including the Ambassador of Somalia to Egypt, Ali Abdi Aware. The visit underscores Somalia’s commitment to building stronger ties with the Arab world in media, culture, and tourism, and to advancing international cooperation that supports the development of Somalia’s media sector.
