Somalia Federal Government has welcomed the signing of the Doha Peace Framework Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance March 23 Movement,” describing the milestone as a constructive and ambitious step toward achieving lasting stability in the region.
Somalia also commended the tireless efforts of the State of Qatar in facilitating the peace process, highlighting Qatar’s sustained diplomatic engagement in creating a productive environment for dialogue. Somali authorities noted that Qatar’s involvement has been pivotal in promoting a framework guided by the principles of the Doha Declaration, enabling meaningful progress toward reconciliation.
In addition to Qatar, Somalia praised the significant contributions of the United States, the Republic of Togo, and the African Union Commission, whose timely support and collaboration helped bring together key stakeholders.
