The Acting Commander of the Lower Juba Regional Police Division, Captain Omar Xujaale Abdi, accompanied by other senior officers from the regional police command, has conducted an official field visit to Dhasheeg Waamo and the road connecting Buulo Gaduud to Afmadow, where construction work is progressing steadily.
The road project, which is being built by the Jubaland government through community self-help initiatives, is considered vital for improving public transportation and strengthening security across the region.
Officials noted that once completed, the new road will enhance connectivity between key settlements, facilitate trade and movement of goods, and contribute to overall economic growth in southern Jubaland.
The visit reflects the Jubaland administration’s ongoing commitment to developing essential infrastructure and promoting stability through improved access and mobility within the region.
