Baidoa-The President of South West State of Somalia, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen, today conducted an inspection tour of the ongoing construction works at the Presidential Palace complex.
The new buildings are part of a broader government initiative aimed at the renovation and modernization of key government facilities.
During the visit, President Laftagareen received a detailed briefing from the officials and engineers overseeing the construction. They updated the President on the current progress and key milestones of the project.
President Laftagareen praised the commitment and hard work of the companies and workers involved in the project, noting that the initiative is a vital part of the government’s development agenda.
He emphasized that the project plays a crucial role in enhancing state infrastructure and modernizing essential government institutions.
The construction and rehabilitation of government buildings, including the Presidential Palace, are part of the South West State’s broader plans to strengthen governance and service delivery capacity.
