The Prime Minister minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre has on Tuesday evening chaired the Cabinet meeting of Jubbaland regional State.

The meeting covered on wide range of issues including the current humanitarian situation caused by the ongoing floods, bolstering relief efforts for families ravaged by the flooding in the Jubbaland State .

The Cabinet also tackled the counter-terrorism efforts to flush out Al-Shabab militant group from the region.

The Prime Minister also briefed the council on the agenda of his administration in implementing development projects across the Federal Member States especially in addressing the climate induced challenges.
