The President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, held talks with a delegation led by Jubaland state, Ahmed Madobe, and a delegation, who are on a visit to the country.

In a brief statement, president Guelleh said he discussed various aspects of support that the Government of Djibouti has with the Somali people and cooperation in the areas of development and security.

”I received the President of the Somali region of Jubaland, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, to strengthen the links of exchanges and cooperation between our two parties.” President Guelleh said in a statement.
