The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) on Saturday announced it had removed its former Deputy Director Abdalla Abdalla Mohamed after criticising the agency in a radio interview.

Gen Abdallah is accused of disclosing classified information in an interview with VOA Somali a tweet from the agency.

It is not clear when the interview aaid was conducted.

NISA says Gen Abdallah “no longer speaks for tbe agency”.

Gen Abdallah and Col Abdikadir Mohamed Nour were sacked as Deputy Directors in a reshuffle last month.

Former Chief of Staff Fahad Yasin took over charge as the Deputy Director NISA.
