AMISOM troops kill three civilians in lower Shabelle region

Three civilians have lost their lives after African union troops fired on pastrolist in Muri.

Eyewitness has told Radio Dalsan that the troops fired on people who were at watering point at the time after explosive device was targeted on troops vehicle.

Witness said AMISOM took seven people with them and their where about is still unknown.

Armed group Alshabaab later claimed the responsibility for the attack on AMISOM vehicle.

Human rights activists have previously accused African Union troops for gross human rights violations mainly rape and sexual harassment.
