Somali security agencies have foiled an attack planned by Islamic state in Mogadishu on Sunday.
According to Somali National News Agency ( SONNA ) a vehicle and seven laptops to be used for the attack was recovered by the police.
It is not immediately clear the target of the attack but the seizure comes as anniversary to mark Somali Youth League members who liberated the country from occupation is ongoing across the country.
ISIS which is mainly composed of defectors from Alshabaab has announced its first attack in Somali soil earlier as Somali special forces carried out attack on the group training facility south of the capital Mogadishu last week.
