Statement from Somali National Army has denied armed group attack on its base on Fridaymorning.

SNA said the group attacked Kenyan Defense Forces camp but not sure the number of casualties.

Earlier press statement from KDF Spokesman also said the group attacked SNA base and KDF are reinforcing.

Sources confirmed the group attacked KDF camp in El Ade near border and 60 KM to Garbaharey.

Al Shabaab spokesman Sheikh Abu Musab confirmed the attack saying they took over the control of the base with heavy casualties on Kenyan side.

No one can independently verify the claims on the sides involved in the conflict however an attack was reported by local residents on KDF base.
