Order from the cabinet of the self declared state calls for immediate implementation by 1st January.

The meeting by Hargeisa cabinets has produced seven points among them Somaliland citizens to carry Somaliland passport to enter Somalia with reduced immigration and visa fee from those from Mogadishu.

The order also affects transport companies, communication firms and money transfer companies to register Somaliland citizens using the internationally unrecognized document and not to offer their service to those who failure to produce.

The order which will take effect by start of the new year is expected to affect the movement between Hargeisa and Mogadishu.

Somaliland declared self independence from larger Somalia in 1992 a move that was not internationally recognized and as peace and stability returns talks are already ongoing between the two sides to unit.
