Somali Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Ali Mohamed has escorted nine members of foreign affairs ministry staff.
The staff left for Kenya on Sunday to undergo diplomatic and international relations training sponsored by Kenyan government.
The ten days training will take place at Kenyan port city of Mombasa.
Somali government has thanked Kenyan counterpart for the support to train its officials saying it will strengthen the relations between the two neighboring states.
Federal government of Somalia was affected by disappearance of diplomats sent for training abroad before.
Earlier this year diplomatic staff sent for training to Turkey disappeared from training facilities to seek refuge in neighboring Scandinavian countries.
Somalia and Kenya enjoy close diplomatic relations rejuvenated by the fight against armed group Al Shabaab despite Kenyan police heavy handed crackdown on Somali refugees in the country.
