Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday killed an old woman in Mogadishu’s Dharkenley district witness and government officials said. Unidentified gunmen on Tuesday killed an old woman in Mogadishu’s Dharkenley district witness and government officials said.

The deceased grandma was named Halimo Odweyn and she was one of the renowned women in the district. In the recent months, the Al-shabab militant who pledges loyalty to Al-Qaeda has been snuffing residents in the capital Mogadishu.

Shortly after the killing, Dharkanley police forces commenced chasing perpetrators and no one has been detained for the killing yet according to officials. “Police will not let perpetrators to run from justice “Mogadishu security officials said.

Killing has been normal since the civil war outbreak in Somalia despite the nation has lost more than hundreds of prominent people during the civil war.
