Commercial Boat Catches Fire Off Bossaso Port, Millions Worth Of Goods Destroyed

Two sailors were injured and millions worth of goods destroyed when a commercial boat caught fire off the Bossaaso Port in northeastern Somalia´s Puntland State, Radio Dalsan reports.

The Puntland Marine Police Forces confirmed to Radio Dalsan that the commercial boat had a cargo of fuel, vehicles and a variety of other goods from Dubai.

All crew members were rescued by the Marine Police in the maritime inferno that occurred sometime minutes before mid day Monday.

A month ago a commercial boat submerged at the Bossaaso Port and it took a joint effort of the locals to rescue the cargo of vehicles.
